Before we design high-quality environments for aging, we must understand the needs of the populations they will serve. As the Silent Generation, Baby Boomers, and Generation Xers begin to overlap, our facilities must be designed to support an increasing diversity of consumer expectations, backgrounds, physical abilities, and attitudes toward technology. Participants in this deep-dive workshop will use a series of tools designed to ensure an audience-centric approach when creating and delivering experiences. The group will then explore and discuss how changes and new approaches in design can have a positive impact to help us better support our aging population.
