E23 - Recognizing Excellence in Evidence-Based Design
In 2017, The Center for Health Design developed an awards program to acknowledge and recognize projects that have demonstrated the use of an evidence-based design (EBD) process in the pursuit of design that increases value and improves outcomes for stakeholders and customers. Applications are evaluated based upon achievement of criteria in three areas: collaboration, evaluation, and sharing. Awards have been given to multiple projects. This session will highlight the winners and share examples that illustrate how they applied an EBD process in the planning, design, and evaluation of different types of healthcare environments. Join us to learn more about this exciting program and what these winners can show us.
