T01 - Masonic Homes Kentucky
Masonic Homes Kentucky is an organization of “Passionate People. Inspiring Lives.” In its 150-year history, the organization has learned a thing or two about community connectivity, encouraging a vibrant, wellness-focused lifestyle and supporting residents with a full continuum of care. This 82-acre senior living community celebrates the history of the organization—the oldest Masonic community in the country—while fitting seamlessly into the surrounding affluent St. Matthews area. The organization has continued its legacy of service by investing in over $250 million in construction projects that position Masonic Homes of Kentucky as a forward-thinking market leader and a community of choice. Tour attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the grounds, designed in 1927 by the renowned landscape architecture firm founded by Frederick Law Olmsted, and experience life at three of its most recent communities—Miralea, Meadow, and Grove Pointe—designed by AG Architecture and Reese Design Collaborative.
Miralea Active Lifestyle Community initiated the campus expansion efforts by embedding 120 modern independent living apartments, 12 patio homes, and a state-of-the-art aquatic center within the historic campus. Meadow Active Lifestyle Community is a 122-apartment independent living community that explores the power of art to enhance health and well-being and encourages an active lifestyle. Highlights include spectacular courtyards and amenities such as a true artist’s studio and a 70-person cinema with theater space.
Grove Pointe Assisted Living supports the full continuum of care on campus. There are 48, one- and two-bedroom private apartments and well-appointed community spaces that offer a comfortable, carefree senior living lifestyle with the right balance of independence and support.
